Why not join Bentwaters Aviation Society, and help to keep alive the memory and history of the “twin bases”; by joining the society you will be playing an important role in supporting the society and the Bentwaters Cold War Museum.
If you would like to join then you can download the appropriate membership application form below, if you live in a country other than the UK or USA, then please use the contact form to let us know which country you are from and we will then send you an appropriate application form.
Membership costs £12 per year for the UK, and $25 per year for the USA, membership runs from 1st January until 31st December, each year.
All members will receive our newsletter ‘Command Post’, four times per year, the newsletter will include articles on the society, museum, a remember when section, and much more.
There will also be a members only E-mail group that you can join if you wish, we would encourage as many members to join as possible, and this group will be used for communicating society information, and also to share information, stories, photo’s on anything related to Bentwaters or Woodbridge then and now.
All members will have the opportunity to have access to the airfield and museum on special members only open days, which will not be open to the public.
Also if you join as an overseas member, and return to the UK for a visit, provided you contact us before hand we will arrange to open the museum up for you, and show you around the museum and the airfield.
We hold a monthly meeting in the society meeting room, which will includes slide shows, video presentations, guest speakers, quiz nights and other events.
We also plan to arrange visits to other museums, airfields and sites of interest to members
Your membership of the society supports our work in keeping alive the history of the ‘twin bases’ through the Bentwaters Cold War Museum and other society projects.
