Bentwaters Aviation Society Bentwaters Cold War Museum
Aircraft Bentwaters Cold War Museum

Registered Charity no. 1124197

It is planned for the museum to have a small collection of aircraft, which would be from the “Cold War” era, and hopefully to represent types that were based at Bentwaters and Woodbridge.

However due to difficulties in obtaining Ex-USAF aircraft for museum display, we have decided to extend the museum aircraft collection to include any “Cold War” era aircraft.

The museum has a Gloster Meteor, which arrived at the museum in January 2005 and an Ex Spanish Air Force Piper PA-31P Navajo, which was already stored at Bentwaters following film work.

Both aircraft will be restored to static display, viewing of the aircraft will only be possible on certain days when the museum is open, and we are running tours of the restoration hangar.

More information on the aircraft can be found from the menu for each aircraft.
